Funded Childcare:
Currently all parents who work more than 16 hours a week and earn less than £100,000 are entitled to 30 hours free childcare a week for children aged three to four years old.

From April 2024, all working parents of 2-year-olds can access 15 hours per week.
From September 2024, all working parents of children aged 9 months up to 3-years-old can access 15 hours per week.
From September 2025, all working parents of children aged 9 months up to 3-years-old can access 30 hours free childcare per week.
Accessing Funded Childcare:
An application needs to be made in order to receive a funding code. Head over to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to seek further information and start your application process.

Please note: An application can only be made a term after your child turns the age applying for.
For Example:
Children born in the period 1 January to 31 March: the start of term beginning on or following 1 April after the child’s third birthday.

Children born in the period 1 April to 31 August: the start of term beginning on or following 1 September after the child’s third birthday.
​
Children born in the period 1 September to 31 December: the start of term beginning on or following 1 January after the child’s third birthday.
Please Note:
Funded hours only cover the core Early Years Foundation Stage and we are not allowed to use this funding for the additional hours or services that we offer here at Humpty Dumpty’s.
Without these additional services we would not be able to provide the high level of service, education and care for each individual child. Once eligible we will do what we can to accommodate your requirements within our available options however the entitlement to a funded place does not guarantee that place at any one provider or within a particular pattern of delivery. Every provider will have a different pattern of delivery which fits the service that they provide for the children.
Accepting funding is a voluntary scheme for private early years providers and early years settings are not obliged to accept these schemes as funding for children’s fees. However, we realise the value for children attending a high-quality early years setting along with the help funding can give parents as it can significantly reduce their fees payable.
We have worked really hard to ensure the funded hours do not negatively impact the service that we deliver, allowing your children to access everything that we deliver in our all-inclusive service at a much lower cost once they are eligible for funding.
